I was commissioned to shoot Egzon Ahmeti fight at a Muay Thai tournament in the Bronx NYC. I’ve shot a lot of things before but never something having to do with a ring. It was a lot of fun and I hope to get in (rather on) the ring again in the near future.

When it’s mission critical that you get good shots – who do you call? Call us! The Doritos Corporation graciously donated $50,000 to the Bronx YMCA. I was asked to take pictures of the Y accepting the check. It was exciting to be on the field to say the least. Even though I’ve been on the field before for other gigs – it was still exciting. Plus it’s always important to be professional and “act like you’ve been there before”.

Inter-school Tournament Flyer

Master George asked us to do a flyer for his first annual inter-school YMCA Tae Kwon Do tournament. Given the fact it’s for children we had to make it appealing. They say never judge a book by its cover – but we beg to differ! It’s all about the cover! We also held into account that the majority of the children are multicultural (given we’re in NYC). Therefore we also were sure to include multiracial children in the design.

We just wrapped up our 2012 Rockin’ It! Media video plug. It took us a few days as it was a complex project. We’re going to use it on all videos that we create during the 2012 season. Plus it’ll be used on all of our upcoming iPad books as well!

Anthony’s Thailand Journal

This video was done for the YMCA Global Teens participants who were fortunate to go to Thailand in 2006. This video features an excerpt from Anthony’s journal. The head counselor took a video camera and handed us the raw footage for us to “do something with it.” We edited the video down to a 2 hour DVD. This video continues to be used for fund raising purposes.

Steven Martinez is one of the top high school athletes in NYC. His father approached us to do a highlight video for scouts to see. After watching this you man play – I believe you will see him in Major League Baseball one day. And yes – we were on the field of Yankee Stadium grabbing footage of him hitting!
